    Vintage E. L. Smith Glass Compote Moon and Stars Pattern
    made in 1940's
    the cuts in the glass reflect all the colors in the bowl's surroundings
    7" tall 8" diameter 3 3/4" base
    L. E. Smith glass company started in 1904 making mustard jars and the mustard, jam and jelly jars with jam and jelly in them.  They also made oil and electric lamps, decorative dishes, and headlights for Henry Ford's Model T.  The company was located in Pennsylvania and closed in1997.
